Setting Up a Multi-user Blogging Platform with WordPress Multisite on ServerStadium

Introduction

Prerequisites

  • Basic knowledge of WordPress installation and Linux server administration.

Step 1: Prepare Your ServerStadium Server

  1. Select a Server: Choose a ServerStadium server that meets the requirements for hosting a WordPress Multisite, considering factors like traffic volume, storage, and security.
  2. Server Setup:

    sudo apt update
    sudo apt upgrade

Step 2: Install LAMP Stack

  1. Install Apache, MySQL, and PHP:WordPress requires a web server, a database, and PHP:

    sudo apt install apache2 mysql-server php php-mysql libapache2-mod-php php-xml php-gd
